Target group
The masterclass is for free and is primarily organised for the PhD students, postdocs and staff of the Division of Human Nutrition. We aim at about 25-30 participants.
Course aim
During the masterclass, the basic concepts of using the program R for statistical analysis will be explained. R is free open-source software that is often used by statisticians to program their new methods. It provides an excellent tool to conduct statistical analysis without the need of an expensive license. The main objective of the course is to learn to perform statistical analysis in R and therefore, the course will consist mostly of practical exercises supplemented with short lectures.
