Introduction

Course content
The course aims to provide basics of exploiting nutrigenomics methodology in clinical dietary interventions: study designs with emphasis on special issues in clinical interventions, applicability of human samples, developments in analysis methods, interpretation of the nutrigenomic data, and interaction of clinical and nutrigenomic data. Active participation in the course program is necessary for successful outcome. A certificate will be issued to participants that completed the assignment based on lectures and literature. The assignment should be handed in on the last course day.

Registration VLAG-WU PhD students

Registration is closed!
VLAG-WU PhD students should register using the VLAG registration form. If you apply for a VLAG course grant, please send also an e-mail to Ingeborg van Leeuwen-Bol (Ingeborg.vanLeeuwen-Bol@wur.nl). Please register ASAP! Deadline for registration for VLAG-WU PhD students is 1 December 2010.

Grants
VLAG will allocate 10 VLAG grants, which include:

• 4 nights (€ 75 per night at the course hotel (€ 300)
• air ticket (maximum of € 350)

The grants do NOT include:

• the course fee (as usual VLAG will charge your department in June 2011 for this fee, VLAG will pay the course fee to the organisers).
• transport to/from the airport.
• personal costs in the hotel like telephone, internet, (mini)bar.

If a grant is allocated to you, you will receive a reimbursement form. Send the form, including a copy of ticket and invoice of the hotel within one week after return to Ingeborg van Leeuwen-Bol, VLAG, Bode 184. VLAG will reimburse your costs to your department. If you have any questions left regarding booking procedure and reimbursement please contact Ingeborg van Leeuwen-Bol.
