The VLAG PhD week is a compulsory part of VLAG education programme and it is specifically meant as an introductory course for freshman PhD students. The PhD week combines training skills with lectures on interesting scientific topics. Issues such as presentation techniques, scientific writing, science ethics, and creativity and innovation are dealt with during the course. Further on it is an important networking instrument offering the opportunity to get acquainted with fellow researchers and their research projects.
The 24th edition of the PhD week is fully booked, registration for the 25th edition will start in the beginning of 2011.
