With 200 employees, our IT department provides a modern ICT environment for education and research. We work in multidisciplinary teams on current issues in the field of digitization, self-service, security, data management, high performance computing and cloud strategy. So plenty of development and career opportunities for specialists at different levels. 
You will work as an SCCM / MECM administrator in the Multidisciplinary team End User Computing that is optimally committed to innovative workplace services for our students and staff through the smart application of innovative technical solutions. Within the EUC team, you will use a scrum method to create a safe and reliable workplace for staff and students. What are you going to do?

  • You will help build and develop future-proof workplace services for WUR users;
  • The further development of standardized workplaces, both classic workplaces and the new cloud-based clients;
  • Supporting the safe and effective use of workplace specials within WUR;
  • Working in a team to further implement modern management;
  • Administrator tasks primarily on SCCM/MECM and secondarily on Intune;
  • 2nd line user support for questions and requests on WUR clients;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security policies / analytics on WUR clients;
  • Contribute to the establishment of support for MAC clients.

Your qualities

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in workplace management in an organization with more than 500 workplaces;
  • Experience with MECM/SCCM;
  • Experience with Intune-related Azure services preferred;
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerShell;
  • HBO working and thinking level, an assessment can be part of the procedure;
  • You have the ambition to grow into a versatile client specialist;
  • You have a good command of Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
Furthermore:
As a connecting person, you are able to bring people and teams together and foster effective collaboration. Your focus is naturally on what you can make possible and this makes you an important player in any team. You have good organization and planning skills. You know better than anyone how to connect with colleagues in other teams on issues or development across the IT chain.

Of course, these excellent fringe benefits also come with an appropriate salary.  Depending on your experience, we offer a competitive salary of a minimum of €3,202 to a maximum of €5,221 for a full working week of 36 hours in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement Wageningen Research  (scale 10). In addition, an appointment of 0.8 FTE is negotiable. We offer you a contract for 1 year with the prospect of a contract for an indefinite period.
