Microscopy and spectroscopy in food and plant sciences (MSFP26)

The course will cover the theory and practice of several advanced microscopic and micro-spectroscopic techniques that have a wide range of applications in both the Food and Plant Sciences. We give an overview of sample preparation and imaging techniques available.

Content

The training during this course will be in the form of group assignments and demonstrations of advanced imaging methods. The course allows to better understand and select microscopy methods that answer your research question. For additional individual training after this course, we welcome you at the MicroSpectroscopy Research Facility and the Wageningen Light Microscopy Centre.
