VLAG cancellation conditions

Cancellation policy for course participants

If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us by sending an e-mail to vlag@wur.nl. Please note that your registration will not be automatically cancelled if you do not pay the participation fee, and you will still be subject to the following cancellation conditions:

• Full refund: Cancellations made up to 1 month before the event.
• 25% fee: Cancellations made between 1 month and 1 week before the event.
• No refund: Cancellations made within 1 week before the event, during the event or ‘no shows’. Full fee applies.

For WUR PhD candidates: The Graduate School subsidizes course fees. If you incur a cancellation fee, the subsidy will not apply. For WUR PhD and EngD candidates, the cancellation fee will be based on the regular fee for "All other PhD candidates."

Free events: Cancellations within 1 week before the event or failure to attend will result in a 50 EUR cancellation fee.

Exemption: The VLAG office may waive the cancellation fee for WUR PhD, EngD candidates, and postdocs with a valid reason for cancellation.

Cancellation of courses by VLAG

VLAG reserves the right to cancel events in case of an insufficient number of participants, organizational reasons, changes of availability of speakers, force majeure or other unforeseeable events that render the execution of the event impossible and/or not worthwhile. In this case VLAG shall immediately inform participants of such changes.
Should an event be cancelled for reasons as outlined above, we will refund the event fee in full.
